May 20th 2012 Solar Eclipse

Here are some pictures I took in Denver of the Annular Solar eclipse on Sunday May 20th, 2012.

Canon EOS 7D, Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS Lens, Canon 1.4x extender, UV Filter, Neutral Density 400 Filter, Circular Polarizer.

    if you put them in chronological order, which way would the eclipse progress? I’m trying to rationalize it and realize that I don’t know which body has faster relative motion from the earth’s perspective.

    With the exception of the last one (the second airplane shot), they are in chronological order. The moon started at the lower right of the disc and ended at the upper right (at sunset)
