Futurama Pumpkin Carving

It’s that time of year and I haven’t carved a pumpkin for quite some time. Paula organized it (however I was the only one to show up), but we still had fun. After searching for a good pumpkin carving pattern, we finally found a good picture of Bender from Futurama. A little editing, a sharpie, and an hour of carving and here’s the result!

Actually I only used two toothpicks – one for the antenna and one at the far right of the teeth. (Doing it again I would have let the antenna meet the top so it was supported better). To make the teeth I cut away about half of the thickness of the pumpkin from the back, and then I carefully cut each square out. The teeth are 100% pure pumpkin :)
